Field flattener lenses, HD optics, high-quality coatings, and the perfect eye relief are what make Swarovision technology stand out. They produce crystal-clear, lifelike images that are razor-sharp right to the periphery, and without any interfering colour fringing.
Easy to handle
The legendary EL wrap-around grip guarantees maximum comfort and steadiness when observing, even over long periods of time.
With a new carrying strap, flexible strap connector, soft, rounded eyepiece covers, and integrated objective lens covers, the FieldPro package offers additional comfort during use.
The revamped design focuses on new aspects and improves functionality in terms of everyday use.
Practical and adaptable
NEW quick-catch button is both elegant and functional. With a simple turn, the carrying strap can be secured to your ideal length. This means you can adjust the strap within seconds to the length that feels most comfortable to you when you are out in the field.
Safe and Protected
NEW objective lens and eyepiece covers are manufactured from the best materials and blends aesthetically into the overall design. This means no more lost covers. They also provide your binoculars with the best protection against external impacts.
To prevent you from unintentionally changing the dioptre adjustment, the new EL binoculars have a practical, integrated lock function.
Swarovision. The ultimate in optical perfection
Swarovision – Optical quality redefined
The revolutionary Swarovision technology from Swarovski Optik gives the EL family a previously unequalled image quality. The combination of field flattener lenses and HD optics ensures an impressive image resolution across the entire field of view. Thus providing outstanding contrast even when observing at dusk. Spectacle wearers also benefit from the full wide-angle field of view due to the large eye relief.
Field flattener lenses – Contrast right up to the image periphery
The image focus of the EL family has never before been achieved in any binoculars. The field flattener lenses produce a virtually flat image. As a result, even the finest structures and smallest details are reproduced with razor-sharp clarity right up to the image periphery. Never before has the observer seen an image without annoying distortions. The outstanding image quality over the entire field of view means less refocusing and allows every detail to be identified at lightning speed.
High Definition – For maximum contrast
The fluoride-containing HD lenses minimise colour fringing (chromatic aberration) for contrast-rich images with razor-sharp outlines. As a result, significant improvements in resolution and contrast are achieved in comparison to conventional grades of glass. Experience a completely new vision of nature’s world of shapes and colours.
Greater eye relief – 100% field of view for spectacle wearers
The EL family stands out in comparison with other binoculars due to a larger distance of the exit pupil. This enables spectacle wearers to enjoy the entire wide-angle field of view and also the unique edge sharpness of the new EL. The removable twist-in eyecups are individually adjustable in three stages. In addition to the maximum position (completely twisted out) and the setting for spectacle wearers (completely twisted in), the eyecups also have a snap-in intermediate stage.
Optimised coating – For maximum colour fidelity
The enhanced coatings of the lenses and prisms (Swarodur, Swarotop, Swarobright) guarantee lifelike colour reproduction and outstanding image brightness for spectacular observation experiences even at dusk. The Swaroclean coating on the outer surface of the lens ensures a non-stick effect with obvious cleaning advantage in the case of dirt such as water marks, insect repellents and tree resin.
