The M9 can be used as a sighting compass by using the side reading window and sight on the opposite side. This allows a bearing to be taken on a distant object. The bezel has a serrated grip and a ratchet so it’s easy to use in cold wet weather, often when you’ll need it most. The face of the M9 is totally luminous for use at night and in darker conditions.
