The 500 is a lightweight head with a wider platform for HDSLR bodies and the sliding plate travels to balance the latest interchangeable lens cameras. The entry-level 500 ensures smooth shots and fine control with up to 5kg of equipment. It’s the most compact head in our successful Bridging Technology range, it also replaces the Manfrotto 701HDV video head. The 500 is available as a stand-alone head or in pre-matched kits with twin-leg or single-tube tripods.

The Manfrotto 500 Pro Fluid Video Head with Flat Base is a lightweight head with large platform base and is suitable for HDSLRs weighing no more than 5kg. The side lock system allows the camera and sliding QR (Quick Release) plate to click quickly into the head from above, instead of needing to be aligned and slid in from the back. The 500 has a pre-set counterbalance of 2.4kg, but is able to support equipment of up to 5kg. The 500 has one Easy Link 3/8″ connector to allow an external monitor or other accessory equipment to be fitted. The Manfrotto 500 is the successor to the 701HDV video head.

A standard post and packaging charge of £4.50 is payable on all orders below the value of £50.00 on this website, any orders over this value will be posted free of charge. For next working day delivery we use DPD 24hr service and for smaller items we use Royal Mail. Our postage prices apply only to UK, BFPO and Channel Island addresses. We do not deliver to P.O. boxes. Delivery within mainland UK is normally within 24 hours of receipt of your order, however, please allow five working days before querying a non-delivery.
