The “open hinge” design makes for easier carrying and focusing with one hand.
Inside the weather-sealed housing the binocular has multicoated optics giving contrast-rich images with minimal glare. It also offers protection from the elements by being nitrogen filled making it resistant to rain, humidity and internal fogging.
Spectacle wearers can enjoy a particularly wide-angle field of view due to the large eye relief and the 2 step twist-up locking eyecups.
